Our faith in democracy remains firm: 7 key things Buhari told world leaders at UNGA

President Muhammadu Buhari addressed other World leaders at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, September 19 where he was the eighth speaker. reported that President Buhari arrived at New York on Sunday, September 17 before his address at the General Debate of the 72nd Session of United Nations General Assembly. 1. Our faith in democracy remains firm and unshaken. Our regional organisation ECOWAS came together to uphold democratic principles in The Gambia – as we had done previously in Cote D’Ivoire 2. Through our individual national efforts, state institutions are being strengthened to promote accountability, and to combat corruption and asset recovery. These can only be achieved through the international community cooperating and providing critical assistance and material support 3. We shall also cooperate in addressing the growing transnational crimes such as forced labour, modern day slavery, human trafficking and cybercrime [FREE WSO] How to Make Money Fast ($150 in 24 Hours!) Click to Start. 4. While the international community grapples to resolve these conflicts, we must be mindful and focus on the widening inequalities within societies, and the gap between the rich and the poor nations. These inequalities and gaps are part of the underlining root causes of competition for resources, frustration and anger leading to spiralling instability 5. Nigeria proposes a strong UN delegation to urgently engage the North Korean Leader. The delegation, led by the Security Council, should include members from all the regions 6. I end my remarks by reiterating Nigeria’s abiding commitment to the foundational principles and goals of the United Nations. Since our admission as a member state in 1960, we have always participated in all efforts to bring about global peace, security and development 7. Nigeria will continue to support the UN in all its efforts, including the attainment of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Source;Naij.com

Nollywood actor Caz Chidiebere calls out Nnamdi Kanu, asks him to help the government make Nigeria better Read more:

Nollywood actor and producer, Caz Chidiebere, has joined the league of those asking IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to end his struggle for the actualization of Biafra. Chidiebere took to his Facebook page to call out Nnamdi Kanu, stating that he has allowed himself be used by politicians to try to destabilize Nigeria. According to him, the self-acclaimed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) needs to end his 'struggle' and instead find a way to help the Nigerian government make the nation better. Chidiebere also said Kanu needs to stop seeking 'cheap popularity' and endangering the lives of innocent people.

Man posts footage of himself b0nking his sister in law [Download Video]

A man identified as Joachim Cruzz from Kenya courted controversy after going ahead to post  Ses photos with his sister-in-law on Facebook.

He first posted photos of the two at the hospital before going ahead to post the after-ses photos which showed them in the room as he touched and held her in a most controversial position, even exposing the woman’s brst.
After posting the photos, the man was heavily criticized by many people who came across the photos.
According to reports in Kenya, the man also claimed the woman visited him and stayed for two weeks. From the pictures and the way the woman exposed her brst, it was obvious that the man and woman had something more than the ordinary in common.
After posting the first few pictures which were moderate, he decided to court more controversy by posting more raunchy photos of the encounter with the sister-in-law.
He posted a series of photos when they were together in the hospital but shocked people even more by following that post with another which have them half-naked after a session of steamy ses His post has not only shocked many Kenyans but also annoyed them with some even calling him mentally unstable, Tuko reported.

RIP! Roman Catholic Nun Commits Suicide After Ses Tape Leak

A Roman Catholic nun committed suicide after a video tape of her breaking the most sacred vow of celibacy found its way to the public domain. The Polokwane based 28-year-old nun was recently filmed engaging in orol Ses with the designated parish driver.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cwQKsuNegISister Ntando Mlilo of the Polokwane diocese could not resist the charm of their driver, Denis and ended up giving him her cookie jar in the back of a car. The video was sent anonymously to iMzansi and shows the pair parked in a secluded place. The driver is then seen jumping to the back of the car and immediately starts feasting on sister Ntando’s cookie jar. Judging from the incident, the two seem to have been doing it for a while.
The shame and embarrassment of the incident eventually led to Sister Ntando committing suicide by overdosing on prescription pills. Her death left many at the church heartbroken for she was much-loved
The video was taken through a hidden camera which was installed by the parish after reports their cars were being used for personal business. Little did they know they would catch one of their own.
When iMzansi contacted the head priest at the branch, he refused to comment but acknowledged he knew of the existence of the tape. As for Denis, it is reported he resigned and went back to his wife and three kids.

MMM NIGERIA LATEST NEWS: The Suggestions of the Participants

Dear participants, You constantly reproach us stating we don’t listen to your opinions however we really do. :-)) We try to carry out the most reasonable and efficient suggestions immediately. Particularly, in accordance with your suggestions, we will soon take the following measures: We will stop the growth of confirmed Mavros acquired before the 1st of January 2017. We will freeze the bonuses received before the 1st of January 2017 (so that limited withdrawal of Mavro-2016 will include only contributions, not bonuses). We will introduce a new rule according to which the withdrawal amount cannot exceed triple amount of the provided help (so, GH cannot exceed PH more than in 3 times). Many participants and guiders withdraw bonuses in such big amounts without PH that it threatens the stability of the whole System. (We don’t agree, however we will accept preferences of the majority. :-)) With this rule, you can’t withdraw only bonuses without providing help. Therefore, keep on sending us your suggestions. We will take them into account (At least, we will try :-)) Best regards, Sergey Mavrodi. We change the world!

FIRST MASSIVE NATIONWIDE PROTESTS ON THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY, 2017

FIRST MASSIVE NATIONWIDE PROTESTS ON THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY, 2017. A call for good governance. A call for urgent explanation into the reckless economic downturn nationwide. A call for nationwide protests as we say No to the Executive, No to legislatures, No to judiciary... You have all failed us. We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people. We the people of this country not living under the privileges of government allowances and remuneration have now accepted to take the bull by the horn to come out and protest this obnoxious and baseless policies and excuses of the government of the day. Where are the recovered looted funds? Why do we still have the executive arms and legislatures still enjoying their salaries and allowances while we hear there's no money to pay workers? Why do we still see ceaseless power failures with no explanation and hope of getting out of it unlike before? Why do we keep seeing peace talks in Niger Delta, fulani heardsmen and ipob without any solutions being reached, while the strategies keeps aggravating the people involved as political leaders stage forums to extort funds in the name of addressing their subjects? Why did we have petrol price rise to 145 for the sake of global oil price crash and removal of subsidy but such price is still being maintained despite significant re-awakening of the oil price from $30/barrel to $56/barrel? Who is to be held accountable for the sudden and continuous hike in price of commodities in the market, where for the first time in history, Nigeria is suddenly selling kerosene at 400 naira per litre as against 50 naira per litre, diesel at 300 naira per litre as against 100 naira per litre and petrol from 87 naira to 145 naira? Yet maintaining the same systems, environment and maybe a lesser money spending government. There's need for Nigerians to rise against what is happening in this country having waited patiently for the legislatures that were elected to represent the people all to no avail. How can there be rise in cost of living all of a sudden and no one is telling us what is actually happening? Not even a single person in power to address the challenges in the various sectors and introduce palliative measures by the government to cushion the effects? We call on all Nigerians of good conscience to rise against this inhumanity against mankind, dehumanization and heartless living in high places piloting the affairs of this country while we're yet to drawn into a deep blue sea. To this cause, we the masses wish to use this medium to alert ourselves that on the 5th of February, 2017 , there shall be a nationwide massive protest from state to state, local government to local government, ward to ward and kindred to kindred. For the first time, all Nigerians shall match out of their houses to the streets with placards displaying what displeases you in the Nigeria of today both in the executive, legislatures and judiciary arms of government. Cars shall carry green leaves to display the unhappiness we the masses have towards the economic uncertainties in Nigeria and the displeasure of hearing of excuses and mistakes here and there in governance. Nobody said anybody is above resignation if he cannot meet up the yearnings of the people like David Cameron of United kingdom. We are tired of getting surprises whenever we visit the market and yet no shake up in government spending amidst the dwindling economic reserve. Our governors and top government functionaries keep living flamboyant lifestyle, building mansions and buying up properties abroad at the most expensive locations in the world and they end up going away with it once they identify with government or political party of the day.
Enough is enough. We have been pushed to the wall, we have reached our crossroads and our last hope before we are drawned in silence without notice is a massive protest and a vote of no confidence on the people we voted to pilot the affairs of our nation. May we rise to demand a ban on the following: Security votes of every government functionaries. Why do we spend extra while their security operatives rely on their normal salaries, why even continue this scheme in a dwindling economy as this in Nigeria today? Oversight functions. Excessive allowances like health and travelling allowances abroad, etc. New yearly furniture allowances, rentals and kitchens for government houses, etc... And the need to start owing governors salaries etc. The need to stop local government allocations till they start functioning constitutionally. The need to channel youth empowerment programs towards youth friendly programs such as sports, information technology, entertainment, innovations, inventions and not just agriculture or farming. We call on state of emergency on power, bad roads, poor governance, dead local government areas, electoral frauds etc. God help Nigeria as we rise on the 5th of February, 2017. Long live the people of the federal republic of Nigeria. Pls pass it on till it gets to over 145 million Nigerians suffering from the current hardship that is capable of turning this country into a living hell if nothing is done about it NOW. Encourage growth, encourage development, encourage stability to all. Help us to fight with our own voices now.

Trump order: Nigerians may no longer get 2-year American visa

Trump order: Nigerians may no longer get 2-year American visa Nigerians are at risk of losing American entry visas which have two-year validity except President Muhammadu Buhari led government change existing immigration policy with the United States. An indication of this emerged yesterday as content on the Executive Order signed on Friday by US President Donald Trump became public. Section 9 of the Executive Order states: “The Secretary of State shall review all nonimmigrant visa reciprocity agreements to ensure that they are, with respect to each visa classification, truly reciprocal insofar as practicable with respect to validity period and fees, as required by sections 221(c) and 281 of the INA, 8 U.S.C. 1201(c) and 1351, and other treatment. “If a country does not treat United States nationals seeking nonimmigrant visas in a reciprocal manner, the Secretary of State shall adjust the visa validity period, fee schedule, or other treatment to match the treatment of United States nationals by the foreign country, to the extent practicable…” Currently, Nigeria issues one-year multiple-entry visa to Americans, which is a non-reciprocation of the two-year visa US issues to Nigerians. As Trump order takes immediate effect, Nigerians holding valid two-year US visa may also be affected. However, Nigeria charges higher fee compared to charges by the American government despite shorter visa validity. While the US charges Nigerians $160 for a typical visit visa, Nigeria charges $180, in addition to a $35 “processing fee”. Meanwhile, Iran has announced that it will ban all United States citizens from entering the country. This was contained in an Iranian Foreign Ministry statement published on state media Saturday. The country’s decision is in response to President Donald Trump‘s executive order limiting immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries.

Gambia political crisis: What happens next?

A political crisis in The Gambia appears to be coming to a head, with Senegalese troops massed on the border after a deadline for President Yahya Jammeh to step down passed with no apparent change of heart from him. Mr Jammeh has refused to hand over power after losing elections last month, while his victorious challenger, Adama Barrow, is preparing to be sworn in.

What happens next?

Mr Barrow, who is in neighbouring Senegal, had hoped to be inaugurated as president at the national stadium in The Gambia, but that plan has had to be abandoned because of Mr Jammeh's intransigence. He will now be sworn in at the Gambian embassy in Senegal and is expected to be recognised internationally as his country's head of state.
How soon he is able to take power in his country remains unclear. West African regional grouping Ecowas has mandated Senegal, which almost surrounds The Gambia, to lead a military intervention to install Mr Barrow. Nigeria has sent aircraft and troops to Senegal, and deployed a warship.
However, West African military sources say intervention is intended only as a last resort if Mr Jammeh cannot be persuaded by the threat of force to stand aside. "If no political solution is found, we will step in," Col Abdou Ndiaye, a spokesman for the Senegalese military, was quoted by Reuters news agency as saying.
Gambia is a popular tourist destination and after the British Foreign Office updated its travel advice, holiday companies have started evacuating tourists.

Would military intervention be legal?

Senegal has circulated a draft resolution at the UN Security Council, seeking authorisation for an intervention but no vote has been scheduled. Some diplomats have suggested that such authorisation may not be necessary if Mr Barrow is sworn in, recognised internationally as head of state and requests help.

What is Mr Jammeh's position?

Having refused to give up power, Mr Jammeh tried to bolster his position earlier this week by declaring a state of emergency and engineering a parliamentary vote to extend his presidency by three months. He said these moves would prevent a power vacuum while the Supreme Court considered a legal challenge he has submitted over the election result.
Apparently disregarding the possibility that the court could eventually rule against him, he has also promised to stay in power until new elections can be held.
Although the parliamentary vote took place while Mr Jammeh was still officially president, regional powers are not regarding the decision as valid and are continuing with their plans to install Mr Barrow. Without this extension, Mr Jammeh's term ended at midnight on Thursday.

Would military intervention succeed?

A Senegalese-led intervention force would be expected to have more firepower than the Gambian army but it is not clear how much resistance it would face.
The army chief is a close Jammeh loyalist but has been quoted as saying he would not risk his men's lives in a political dispute.
The elite regiment of the army, drawn mainly from the same ethnic group as Mr Jammeh, is well-armed and is regarded as being fiercely loyal. However, it would be at a considerable numerical disadvantage to an intervening force.
The loyalty of other regiments is much less certain. Correspondents say there has been talk that some are unhappy with recent events and want a peaceful resolution.

How are the Gambian people reacting?

Tension is high in the Gambian capital, Banjul, over concerns that the political conflict will escalate into violence. Thousands of people have fled to neighbouring countries and rural areas.
Earlier this week, Mr Barrow's coalition urged Gambians to "exercise restraint, observe the rule of law and not to respond to provocation".

The BBC's Umaru Fofana, who is in Banjul, says people there are petrified. They are stocking up on food and water. Everyone is praying for a peaceful resolution, he says.

What is the dispute over the election?

Mr Jammeh, who seized power in a 1994 coup, initially accepted that Mr Barrow had won the election but later reversed his position and said he would not step down.
He filed a petition to the Supreme Court, challenging the election results, and says the existence of this legal process means it would be unconstitutional for Mr Barrow to assume office.
He also asked the Supreme Court for an injunction to stop the inauguration but the chief justice declined to rule on it, saying he must recuse himself from any case that could affect his own position - he would normally conduct the swearing-in ceremony.
Mr Jammeh has said there were irregularities in the election process, including the turning away of some of his supporters from polling stations, and errors made by the electoral commission.

The commission accepted that some of the results it initially published contained errors, but said Mr Barrow still won.
Retaining power would ensure he was not prosecuted in The Gambia for alleged abuses committed during his rule.

How have his allies reacted to the crisis?

Ministers are continuing to desert Mr Jammeh's government. Several ministers, and even the long-serving vice-president, have resigned in recent days.
One of the ministers who resigned, former information chief Sheriff Bojang, said Mr Jammeh's arguments had a "veneer of constitutionalism" but were an attempt to subvert the will of the Gambian people. The international community says Mr Barrow won fairly.
The lawyer representing Mr Jammeh and his APRC party in the election challenge has also fled to Senegal and urged the long-time leader to step aside.

What is happening at the Supreme Court?

Judges from Nigeria and Sierra Leone have been hired to hear the petition to overturn the election result, but they have yet to arrive in Banjul.
Gambian chief justice Emmanuel Fagbenle has said the court will be able to convene no earlier than May, and possibly not until November, because the Nigerian who is to act as court president, Onogeme Uduma, is fully booked for the coming months.

Image captionNigerian leader Muhammadu Buhari (r) was in Banjul on Friday but did not persuade Mr Jammeh to change his mind

How might this be resolved?

Mr Barrow has distanced himself from comments, made by other opposition figures, suggesting Mr Jammeh may be prosecuted over alleged abuses in power.
He said Mr Jammeh should be able to stay in The Gambia and would be honoured as, and receive the privileges of, a former head of state if he stepped down.
However, analysts say Mr Jammeh is unlikely to be persuaded by his opponent's apparently conciliatory language.
Another option, raised by Nigerian MPs, is that Mr Jammeh could be offered asylum and a comfortable retirement in another African country.
Besides Nigeria, Morocco has been mooted as a possible destination (Mr Jammeh's wife is Moroccan).
A third possibility has been made more likely by Mr Jammeh's recent moves - that, in the absence of a clear court ruling, Mr Jammeh continues to cling to power with army backing, pending military intervention by regional powers.

MMM IS BACK; READ WHAT SERGEY MAVRODI SAID......

Dear members,
The holidays are over, and we''re now open. Just as promised. (You might have already noticed that we always stick to our promises. :-)) Actually, we promised to be open on January 14, but we''re open now, January 13, as you can see, which is a day earlier. (Well, I hope, the members of the System will forgive us for that. :-))
It''s related to the hysteria raised by the authorities and the mass media around MMM. By joining forces, they''ve managed to nearly give the members of the System a heart attack and have frightened them out of their wits. Poor souls don''t know what to expect. Will we open again or not? :-))
This is why we''ve decided, considering the situation, to reach out to the members, reassure and cheer them up by opening a little earlier. After all, Together We Can Change The World! :-))
Here we go.
1. As of this notice, MMM resumes its usual operation. You can now create your GH-requests.
2. However, it''s obvious that panic will reign in the first few days after the re-opening of the System. We’re likely to be deluged by GH-requests. Therefore, we''re going to make gradual paybacks by setting internal output limits. In other words, we will only pay a certain amount per day. Please, be prepared to wait for a couple of days. We are certain things will then calm down, and the System operation will return to normal.
We''re the ones setting the limits, so it''s completely under our control, and we are not expecting any emergencies in principle. Have no fear and go on about your business as usual. :-))
As the System is socially oriented, we will make paybacks to the poor and the economically disadvantaged in the first place: it means to the members with small PH amounts. The richer can wait. Moreover, we''ve warned you repeatedly to only provide help with amounts that are not critical for you. Therefore, if these large amounts are not critical for them (the richer), they can wait a few days. No need to be tragic about it. :-))
This is the way it''s going to be.
Hoping for your kind understanding, Sergey Mavrodi. We Change The World!
P. S. I''d like again to call on the authorities and the mass media: Please, leave us alone! Have mercy on people.
